FUTSAL - The only version of indoor soccer
regulated and sanctioned by
FIFA, the soccer world's
governing body, which actually runs a World Cup in the sport. Teams' employ
4 field players and a keeper, and the non-stop action requires frequent player
changes (much like line changes in ice hockey). The game uses a size 4 ball
with a special double bladder that kicks true but has minimal bounce;
consequently, the game rewards development of foot and short passing skills.

The Center boasts one well-lit 100 x 40 foot all weather
indoor soccer field.

Young players are mentored by Coach Rev. Oscar Ernand who oversees
the Kids' academy training, practices and games and adults are assisted by
former professional player (Madeira-Portugal), Nelson Gomes. Each time the
kids meet, Oscar leads the classes with devotion for participants to encourage
sportsmanship, build character and self-esteem.
